After many years of private psychotherapy practice in Orlando, Fl. I have moved my practice to beautiful Western Mass to be near family. I am accepting referrals at my Northampton location for individuals, couples and families interested in healing, learning and growth. I also offer teaching/therapy Intensives for couples, which are ideal for relationships which are struggling or strong. My philosophy about therapy and life is that we all have the capacity to reach our potential and that sometimes we need help in the form of therapy or coaching or support to assist us in this endeavor.
I have many years of experience in working with adult survivors abuse, adult children of alcoholics, life stage transitions and with gay, lesbian and transgendered people, among others. I work individually, within the couple relationship or with the family, depending on my assessment of the best modality for the situation.
I was trained in Systems Theory and tend to see human problems in the context of the environment in which they were formed, and the solutions in terms of creating a context which fosters healing and growth. I am also a Certified Imago Therapist/ Workshop Presenter. See www.imagorelationships.org
