Psychiatry is an art and science I am grateful to have the privilege of working in. I have been working as a nurse practitioner for the past 5 years in Emergency Psychiatry, Inpatient Adult and Adolescent Psychiatry, Outpatient Adult and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Chemical Dependency. I have traveled the country for the past few years learning different ways of practicing and approaching patients' obstacles.

I am Medically trained Physician Psychiatrist.I had the privilege to train at Royal London & St Bartholomew’s Hospital for 4 years in various branches of Psychiatry before I moved to the USA. I had a further Residency Training at SUNY Downstate Hospital Brooklyn, NY followed by a one year of Child Psychiatry training at the University of Florida. I have a fellowship in psychoanalysis from NYU and a 2 year of psychodynamic psychotherapy training at Willam Alanson White Institute , NYC.

I am a physician dually certified in general psychiatry and addiction medicine. I work in New York City, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Florida, California and Michigan. I specialize in psychopharmacology and talk therapy. I approach every patient as an individual with their own unique thoughts and feelings and work in a collaborative way to identify and achieve their individual goals. I am an internationally recognized expert in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and addictive disorders (including gambling). I evaluate and treat patients of all severities with an emphasis on difficult to treat cases.

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults to feel better understood as individuals, reach their personal goals, and forge more meaningful relationships. This can be particularly challenging for those who have experienced trauma in the past, and I am committed to helping these individuals attain the same level of fulfillment in their lives.

Dr. Lopez-Larson is a board certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist and received her MD from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. She performed her adult and child psychiatry training at Harvard Medical School training sites including Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital and Cambridge Hospital, respectively. She has been practicing for over 15 years in a variety of settings including academic research, inpatient, residential and outpatient psychiatric services.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist and graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and New York University (NYU). After graduating as chief resident, I went on to pursue a fellowship and work in the public sector serving those most in need. My clients often include those that have been struggling with difficulties that impair their day to day function, leaving them unsatisfied, unhappy or struggling with inner turmoil or anxiety. My priority is to listen carefully and compassionately, and provide judgement-free, collaborative, high-quality care. I have extensive experience treating adults with a wide variety of mental health concerns and offer a personalized and personable treatment approach. I conduct a comprehensive evaluation to create a cohesive narrative that begins to make sense of what brought you in, with the goal of you living a happier, healthier, more meaningful life.

The stigma around mental health treatment can make initiation intimidating, because of this I offer a non judgmental and confidential space to get the treatment you need. As well I focus on the individual and not the diagnosis. Medication management cannot be performed properly if people are all treated the same. Services include medication management/review ,medical marijuana, and first time consultations to discuss a treatment plan. ADHD diagnosis/management is also provided. ADHD is often overlooked or under treated. My goal is to provide a personal experience where we work together for optimal care ensuring all needs are met.

I am a Child, Adolescent, Adult Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst with over 20 years of experience. I help patients in developing self understanding of their own personal conflicts through play and talk therapy. I use medication when necessary, on agreement with the person that I treat and the parents of children in order to decrease suffering, and facilitate the therapy and psychoanalysis. I treat patient with medication only when appropriate and I collaborate with therapists who want me to prescribe medications to their patients.

Since I was 9 years old, I knew I wanted to be a psychiatrist. I was enthralled by how humans were influenced by emotions and wanted to better understand that within myself and others. I am an NYU-trained child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist, who uses a holistic approach to carefully understand an individual's needs. Dr. Chikvashvili is a double board certified child & adult psychiatrist in New York City. She is currently an attending physician at Long Island Jewish Medical Center & Cohen Children’s Medical Center, specializing in Emergency Adult & Pediatric Psychiatry. In addition to her expertise in adult psychiatry, Dr. Chikvashvili is one of the few doctors with experience in treating children of all ages.

House Call Psychiatrists is a network of board certified and licensed psychiatrists in Manhattan with extensive experience making psychiatric home visits. They are available for convenient and private house calls within Manhattan.

Dr. Khan is a triple board trained physician practicing Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and General Pediatrics with an integrated care background. He completed a combined residency in Adult Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and Pediatrics through Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine and holds a Master of Public Health degree from the IU Fairbanks School of Public Health. Additionally, he completed a public psychiatry fellowship through Columbia University Medical Center.

Samantha Shue is a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in adult and children services. She has experience working in a Residential Treatment Center and Therapeutic Family Foster Care agency with young children and adolescents, as well as experience working in outpatient mental health treatment, telepsychiatry, addiction services and the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP).

I am now seeing people virtually and in person. I provide psychotherapy with the option of medication and other integrative treatments for anxiety, depression, and stress related to relationships, work, and other life challenges. My patients experience me as warm, open, collaborative, humble, and very accessible. As my patient, I would help you identify treatment goals, and then work with you to achieve these goals by together making sense of your feelings and helping you realize new freedom in your life. For patients who are already in therapy, I also provide adjunctive medication treatment.

I joined the faculty at Yale University, and then at NYU until 2011. I have been Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College since 2011. I had been Unit Chief at NewYork Presbyterian for more than 10 years since 2011. I am fluent in English, French, and Hebrew.

I am a Board certified psychiatrist with a broad training in psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, addiction, and emergency psychiatry. I treat adolescents and adults with a variety of mood and anxiety disorders, panic attacks, PTSD, insomnia, personality disorders, interpersonal and parenting issues by using evidence-based psychopharmacological methods as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, supportive therapy, and, most importantly, an empathetic and non-judgmental approach. I received my training in Russia, where I practiced psychiatry for eight years and in the United States from NY School of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by 4 year of residency at St.Lukes Roosevelt Hospital.
