I am a board-certified psychiatrist who completed training at the NYU School of Medicine. I understand that the decision to ask for help can be a scary one for many reasons. Your mental health can be impacted by your current stressors, prior stressful life experiences, and your cultural background. The first step towards achieving wellness is asking for help. My approach to mental health and wellbeing recognizes these experiences and provides a professional, safe and confidential place to address your concerns and get the care that you need.
I have special interests in Social anxiety, Depression, OCD, gender and sexuality issues, and the relationship between leadership, resilience and burnout. I also have specialized training in sex therapy. I provide psychotherapy and medication management.
I believe in an empathic and culturally sensitive approach to my practice. I listen non-judgmentally to my patients' concerns and work together with them to create an individualized treatment plan that best meets their needs. I provide free phone consultations, and see patients in person or via telehealth.
