I have been Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology for over 20 years. I graduated from medical school in Paris and completed my psychiatry residency at Yale University. I joined the faculty at Yale University, and then at NYU until 2011. I have been Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College since 2011. I had been Unit Chief at NewYork Presbyterian for more than 10 years since 2011. I am fluent in English, French, and Hebrew.

I have a broad and extensive clinical experience in psychiatry, in different settings including outpatient.
I published an example of cultural adaptation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In his new book, Butterfly words. "Relationships: a psychiatrist narrative", I addresses, among other, the issue of narrative therapy in a context of trauma, and discusses the “silence of the past” associated with trauma.
