Vanessa Doobay, RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with 10+ years of nursing experience in mental health. She spent the majority of her nursing career caring for patients with mental health needs ranging from the long-term care, adults, and gerontology community to patients with addiction and acute withdrawal. Her goals are to help individuals and families who are struggling with mental illnesses particularly those in minority, transgender, and gender-expansive communities.

I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner licensed and board certified in the state of New Jersey to provide psychiatric care for patients with mental illness. I have been trained to provide care to patients struggling with mental health problems. I have the education and experience to tend to your mental health needs of patients of all ages. I am qualified to diagnose patients with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, or eating disorders and prescribe treatment. Currently I am accepting new patients. I am a triple-board-certified child-adolescent, adult, and addiction psychiatrist. I worked at Mt. Sinai St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in NYC as a director. I am an assistant professor of clinical psychiatry at Rowan University now. I do psychiatric diagnostic assessments, and medication management including ketamine, vivitrol, suboxone, sublocade, as well as outpatient detox. I do accept all ages and most conditions. Please note that I see patients in Edgewater NJ or virtually. I am out of network for all insurances but will provide an invoice for you to submit.

Trained and experience in treating individuals (ages 5-99) struggling with depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, bipolar disorders, thoughts disorders and many other mental illnesses. Ernst is a caring and empathetic practitioner who uses pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic options to deliver optimal care to clients. Ernst has been in the nursing field for two decades and has provided mental health services to clients at various healthcare settings.

I have a background that includes over 30 years experience and knowledge in providing mental health care to clients who need help dealing with diverse mental health issues and problems. I also have extensive experience working with clients who suffer from low self esteem, self-worth concerns and the illnesses that emanate from that like substances abuse, depression and anxiety. My client's issues may include academic issues, relationships, job stress, grieving, and alcohol/substance use. They would need help managing pronounced symptoms/episodes of difficulty with focus, attention, and staying organized; anxiety or depression; hyper-vigilance/arousal, poor/low frustration tolerance, and/or exhibit behaviors of avoidance; mood dysregulation; alcohol/substance withdrawal; or difficulty with sleep. Their overall goal would be to experience, at minimum, a significant reduction in frequency, intensity, and duration of pronounced symptoms, and perhaps with some of the symptoms, elimination of them.
