I started my training by completing medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed my psychiatry residency at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. For the first three years of my career I worked at St. Luke's Hospital both as Associate Training Director and as a general outpatient psychiatrist for patients, including those living with serious mental illness.

Karen Yeboah-Norment is a dual board-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Helping patients achieve their mental health goals in the primary care outpatient setting became her passion, which led Karen to return to school to earn her psychiatric nurse practitioner certificate in not only treating her patients physically, but mentally as well. Karen obtained her MSN degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at The College of New Jersey in 2016 and her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification from Wilkes University in 2021.
