Dr. Raluca Radulescu, a Board Certified psychiatrist in the area of General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, heads our practice. She completed her training in Child Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center-Westchester Division. She provides psychiatric services to children, adolescents and adults. We have several licensed clinicians with extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, and private practice working with adults, adolescents, children and families. Our warm, highly qualified professionals are dedicated to providing quality, goal-oriented care tailored to your individual needs using a variety of patient-centered approaches.

I am a Family Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner, with many years in the field, treating children, adolescents, adults and families. I perform psychiatric evaluations, design comprehensive treatment plans, prescribes medication and provides brief therapy. I have experience reinforcing DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) skills as well as behavior modification. I have a passion for working with youth on the autistic spectrum as well as with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders and behavior problems. Experience working with Child Study Teams as well as working with schools and guidance counselors to recommend accommodations for 504 plans and IEPs.

I’ve been doing this for many years: first as a nurse-midwife, now as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. I am still dual-credentialed in both. I treat people of all types, but most frequently children and perinatal women. My patients, big and small, grapple with issues like anxiety, trauma, depression, OCD and eating disorders. Issues around fertility, pregnancy, parenting and menopause remain among my strengths, even though I rarely deliver babies anymore (and I miss it, sometimes!). My approach is holistic.

We are living in terribly stressful times: political divisions, military unrest, economic uncertainty and a marked deterioration professional integrity. As a result, people are struggling more with: anxiety, depression, isolation, relationship conflicts & adjustment difficulties. Dr. Tintorer went to medical school at New Jersey Medical School, and went on to begin a residency in surgery before deciding that a career in psychiatry was where she wanted to be. She did her general psychiatry training at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan, then her Child and Adolescent Fellowship at St. Luke's Roosevelt Medical Center in Manhattan. She has rotated through a therapeutic school in NYC, worked in a substance abuse clinic in Brooklyn, and worked with psychiatric inpatient and outpatient children and adults in both NY and NJ. She has been in practice in Monmouth County since 2010.

At an early age, I began to enjoy working with children and adolescents, and that passion led me to becoming a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. I have worked with clients from many different background experiences, cultures, and family systems. My work centers around helping children and adolescents with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, other behavior disorders, psychotic disorders, school and peer issues, and family conflict. At this time, I'm only providing treatment for children and adolescents who are less than 18 years old.
