You may need permission to take a step, set a boundary, or leave an unhealthy relationship. Counseling allows you to let down walls, process pain, and gain insight from a trusted, neutral person without fear of judgment. I work with adults and couples experiencing relational pain, anxiety, depression, and various life transitions - including premarital. You can always reach out, and I can help determine if we're a good fit. If not, I'll help you find someone who is.
I received my Master of Social Work with a concentration in social justice and diversity from the University of Toronto in 2006. I have worked extensively with survivors of abuse and sexual assault - including narcissistic abuse. I also partner with the Reclamation Collective and am passionate about providing support during religious trauma recovery.
Life is not meant to be experienced alone. We all have a limit to our capacity to handle overwhelming events and emotions. Painful events do not always result in trauma if you have support. I know how much courage and vulnerability it takes to reach out and ask for help. Your story matters to me, and I look forward to talking with you soon.
