I am a qualified and experienced Integrative counsellor and Internal Family Systems therapist, working with adults across a wide range of life's challenges in the Exeter area and on-line. I hope to encourage self-acceptance as a good enough person, quietening the inner critic & bringing self-compassion to the relationship you have with yourself & transforming your relationship with others. Together, we can explore the feelings, thoughts & relational patterns that have been causing you distress. I can support you to gain a deeper understanding of the effects of past experiences & how these may impact your struggles in the present.
You will find me relatable and easy to talk to, as well practical, supportive & straightforward. I take my work seriously but believe humour & laughter are also important. Encouraging with gentle curiosity, & a holistic mind-body approach, I work with approaches including mindfulness, Internal Family Systems Level 2, Polyvagal and the work of Gabor Mate.
I offer a therapeutic space filled with warmth & empathy where you will be listened to & truly heard maybe for the first time. Building a relationship of trust between us is important to me.
