Welcome – and thank you for your interest in the possibility of working together. Choosing to work with a new therapist is a deeply personal and sometimes difficult decision; especially when considering the balance of vulnerability and trust that's typically required to make progress toward your mental health goals. My approach is highly relational, empathetic, compassionate, and collaborative - all of which are essential traits when working with adults and teens (age 18+) who are focused on overcoming anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma; along with a handful of common co-occurring concerns.
Most of us have been hurt, harmed, or injured in some traumatic way that impacted our sense of self - especially if our early childhood need for healthy attachment went unmet and our authenticity was continually being sacrificed in favor of acceptance. This ongoing internal conflict can, over time, result in patterns of anxiety, depression, and addiction.
I offer mental health and addiction counseling services that are grounded in trauma-informed contemplative and somatic practice, ongoing advances in modern neuroscience, and evidence-based models of psychological healing; with a deep client-centered focus and a heart-felt desire to transform human suffering into wisdom, compassion, and loving-action.

Let's sit down together and discover what symptoms you are experiencing - then let's look at where those concerns may be rooted. Many times we just want relief, but most of what we want relief from is rooted in conditioned patterns of thought and behavior that can take some time, patience, and deep self-compassion to unravel.
