If you have ended a wanted pregnancy, you are welcome & deserving of compassion, healing, & community. Termination for medical reasons (TFMR), or ending a wanted pregnancy due to the health of the baby or the pregnant person, is uniquely complex & results in the devastating loss of a much loved baby & future. You may feel much of the same pain & silencing that other pregnancy & infant loss parents do. You may also feel additional layers of shame, fear, & judgment due to the politicized nature of the loss, the idea that you had to make a “choice,” & the lack of safe & inclusive communities & resources available to support you.
I provide online individual therapy & support groups to guide you through the unique barriers & grief of ending a wanted pregnancy. I am passionate about building community, eliminating shame, & honoring grief for TFMR families. Together we can talk about your baby/ies, feel your grief, move through shame, & practice managing big emotions.

Build community, break down stigma, & heal together in this support group series for TFMR (termination for medical reasons) parents in Texas. Participants will participate in weekly 1.5-hour sessions together for 6 or 8 weeks. Participants are screened in advance to ensure the group is appropriate and to protect the safety of the group. The group will focus on a different topic each week (though anything related to participants' experience is always welcome) such as guilt & shame, navigating anniversaries/milestones/holidays, managing anger/jealousy/"ugly feelings," & ways to honor and continue bonds with your baby/ies.
