I help young adults and adults and couples who are feeling limited by past experiences, shame, self criticism, unhealthy coping habits, anxiety and/or depression, or burnout. Whether you are looking for short term counselling (emotional support and some help to get back on your feet), more in depth therapy (changing longer existing patterns of how you behave and relate to yourself and others), or workplace relationship coaching I can help. My clients are from very varied backgrounds and ages, however I do specialize in working with health care professionals and young adults.

My clients tell me they notice that I am authentic, supportive, and practical, and that I can pose any question and hold any response in a way that feels very safe to them. The effectiveness of therapy is important, and I believe in the evidence based approaches I use to create conditions for clients to experience less suffering, more ease and more thriving.

I was a Registered Nurse for 18 years before becoming a counsellor, and I have great respect for how unique each individual situation can be. I understand that seeking outside support can be a giant step. With this in mind, I strive to respond to any messages from new clients within a couple of days.
