Using tools and strategies gained over many years of clinical practice, I help you to resolve the anxiety, depression, unhelpful behaviour, and distressed thinking common to all forms of trauma. The safety and confidentiality of the therapeutic relationship creates the opportunity for change and together we craft a plan for change. Identifying your strengths and resources, we leverage these to change or extinguish the coping strategies that no longer serve you well. There IS healing in the present from the traumas of the past creating a future worthy of hope and anticipation.
Hey Mama! Is mamahood different than you expected? Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, worried, depressed or lonely and wondering why this feels so hard. Well, here’s the thing: Mamahood is hard! It requires you to be present in a way you’ve never been before; it pushes you beyond your limits every day; and it can bring about thoughts that are scary and completely out of character for you. If this sounds familiar, you're probably hoping to find a way to feel more relaxed, more connected and gain a greater understanding around why all of this is happening (what do those scary thoughts actually mean?!). This is where I come in.
