Close your eyes for a moment and ask yourself. How am I really feeling today? I wonder what emotion comes forward. Now what would you do with this or these emotions? In my experience clients who experience emotional disturbance, often do not know what to do with difficult emotional experience, so it is either avoided or suppressed, later causing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, stress etc. By focusing on our feelings, I believe we learn how emotions influence our choices/actions, and if we change the way we feel, we can change the way we think and behave.

I am a general psychologist with an MBA and have diverse experience in clinical and business settings. I work one-on-one with adults and adolescents with anxiety and panic disorders, depression, overwhelm, attention deficits, trauma, PTSD and complex presentations. I believe that we experience psychological distress when there’s a disconnect between where we find ourselves in our lives and relationships right now, what has happened to us in the past, and what we worry may happen in the future.

My ideal client isn't perfect-they've been through things, lost confidence, or carry pain they rarely speak aloud. They're often high-functioning but exhausted, craving a circuit-breaker. They want more than just symptom relief-they want clarity, connection, and a life that actually feels like theirs. They come with questions like "Is this all there is?" or "Why can't I just move on?" —and they're ready, even if nervously, to do the real work of healing with someone who gets it.

I practice Lacanian Psychoanalysis. Psychoanalysis is a talking work, or therapy, which aims to make an absolute difference to suffering. Lacan's psychoanalysis is based in the idea that the unconscious is structured like language. What you say reveals the unconscious processes that underlie any issues that are problematic for you, or recur. Psychoanalysis is the safe space where you can come to talk freely, without censorship and your analyst listens. There is no "correct" way to speak; the work of psychoanalysis is to find your own unique voice, especially of your unconscious.

I love supporting BIPOC, neurodivergent and LGBTIQA+ folks to navigate through a range of traumas and distress such as intergenerational, personal or community traumas. People are often curious about how their body might hold onto emotions, feelings, memories or experiences and how these manifest in everyday interactions both internally and externally which I support them to explore. Folks who are a great fit for me are attempting to bring healing and understanding to difficult moments in their life in a way that allows space for peace and calm in both the body and mind

Trying to find a therapist through an online site is a daunting task, but the fact that you're looking means that you're that much closer to feeling better. We all feel overwhelmed at times during our lives. There's no reason to feel alone. I'm here to sit beside you as we uncover and explore your inner resources together.

I particularly assist clients that require therapy in the areas of anxiety, substance abuse (other addictions), depression and relationship issues. My focus is on working with the client towards personal development and goal setting. Each client is so very unique, hence, requires a personal counselling approach that is catered entirely for them. As a therapist, i work with various approaches such as: CBT, ACT, humanistic approach and TRTP (trauma therapy) amongst many other(s).

I am passionate about working with adult clients to help them move beyond issues that are holding them back in life. I help clients better understand the causes of current triggers and difficulties. Often there is a link to their development history and past trauma. I often use the power of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to get to the root cause of your difficulties so you can process and move beyond these unprocessed issues. EMDR has been found to be the most cost effective treatment for trauma, but is useful for a wide variety of issues, I combine it with Mindfulness, Compassion Focussed Therapy and CBT.
