My name is Elisha Ebdon and I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Psychotherapist. I offer counseling and psychotherapy to people who are experiencing emotional, relational and mental health related difficulties. I have a particular interest in working with people who are experiencing difficulties as a result of past or recent experiences of trauma, as well as anxiety and depression symptoms.
I regularly receive referrals relating to family violence, sexual assault, victims of crime as well as military, health professional and emergency service related occupations. I offer therapy from a trauma informed perspective, and work primarily from a psychodynamic approach. I also offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.
I approach each new client as an individual, acknowledging and honoring their unique journey. Every day I watch people make transformations in their life, often one small step at a time.
