Outpatient (Level 1) and intensive outpatient (Level 2) services vary in intensity and duration. Generally clients who attend outpatient treatment attend individual sessions once a week and group session 1-3 times per week, whereas individuals who attend intensive outpatient treatment see a counselor for a weekly individual session and attend group 3-4 evenings per week. Each treatment program is designed to help individuals develop the structure and tools necessary to begin recovery from their substance use disorder. Ecker Center employs an integrative approach, utilizing evidence-based therapy practices that include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, Matrix Model, Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Contingency Management. For many clients who are dealing with a primary mental health/mental illness, we approach their treatment focused on their co-occurring disorders and focus on both issues concurrently. We are approved to provide treatment to clients who are involved in the Court systems in Cook, DuPage, Kane and McHenry Counties. Our women's program also has childcare for women in treatment.

The diverse GLPG network includes hundreds of licensed providers offering online and/or in-person therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across the Midwest.

Our Residential Treatment Center is now open, with 21 residential beds for adults 18 and over in our all new overnight facility in Northbrook. Our model will be the exact same, integrated, and comprehensive with a laser like focus on treating those who struggle with complex co-occurring eating disorders, substance use disorder, process addictions, mood disorders and related trauma. Residential level of care is for those who need 24/7 support. Patients enter residential treatment voluntarily and generally step up from IOP or PHP or down from in patient hospitalization.

The Family Behavioral Health Clinic provides behavioral health services to children and adults in the Chicago area. Our mission is to provide psychiatric evaluation and therapeutic counseling to children and their families enabling the family dynamics to be improved, the bonds to be strengthened, and the future to look brighter. While we welcome clients of all ages, our focus is on the needs of children, adolescents, and young adults. Our clinicians have extensive experience in treating child psychosis and behavioral issues including trauma-impacted disorders, depression, anxiety, attention-deficit disorder (ADD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, school avoidance, and self-harming behaviors. Our goal is to provide excellent treatment and advance the ability of each client to deal with the challenges they are facing.
