Our team at Harvest Counseling & Wellness is dedicated to helping clients reach their goals using a holistic approach and find comfort in a secure environment that is safe and free of judgement. I believe that everyone brings something special to the table and I aim to help clients explore and maintain self-confidence. I work with people of all ages suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, sex issues, substance abuse, and behavioral issues. I work hard to get to know my clients so that we can then build a collaborative plan for achieving personal goals. Within my work, I have adopted the therapeutic model of trauma recovery from Pia Mellody at The Meadows, as I witnessed firsthand how her Model of Developmental Immaturity has successfully and thoroughly addressed all forms of developmental trauma. I have been trained in Post Induction Therapy (PIT), a method to treat developmental immaturity through inner child and feeling reduction work. This method is used in workshops at The Meadows in Wickenburg, AZ, commonly known as the “Survivors Week.”. I have done specialized training with Dr. Ken Adams, focused on treating parent and adult child enmeshment issues.

My greatest strength is empathy, the ability to put myself in the shoes of my client to understand what they are feeling. Every brain is as unique as DNA, which means problems can present differently in people and can be triggered by different issues. I work with all ages, from children with ADHD to senior citizens with cognitive decline. Sometimes the client needs to build a toolbox, and other times, we can teach the brain new ways of processing information. It all depends on what issues you are dealing with in order to determine what solutions are available. I will guide you through what options are available for you to decide.

I understand the systemic obstacles often faced by people from diverse communities and seek to empower and support my clients.

My approach is to empower clients through difficult times of their life, by teaching them the skills of self-compassion and vulnerability. I work with all individuals who feel overwhelmed by life and I am prepared to be there for them no matter what.
