I offer psychotherapy to people who feel drawn to explore and expand their self awareness and transform emotional confusion and suffering. I believe that it’s in relationship with others where we are harmed and it’s also in relationship with others where we can heal. The therapy relationship facilitates a healing conversation because it is a place of safety where you can begin to expand your ability to communicate, develop your capacity for self compassion, deepen your emotional understanding, and increase your self confidence.

Sometimes in life we all need a “companion on the journey,” someone to partner with us and help make sense of our experience, ease our pain, and support our goals. As a therapist, I am committed to providing a safe environment where individuals can identify their strengths, recognize unhelpful patterns, and live into their goals. Working from an integrative, client-centered approach, I seek to support individuals wherever they are on their journey and my approach is holistic, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I value cultural humility and look forward to working with people of all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life.

Regulating your nervous system and restoring balance to your body and mind really is possible. Past trauma and current stressors offer us the road map for healing. I am passionate about working with adults who are motivated for that change. I work with Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other therapies to treat anxiety/depression, grief and loss, PTSD, past traumas or current triggers, interpersonal conflict, attachment differences and more.

In my training and career, I specialized in treating children with behavioral difficulties and adults suffering from anxiety, depression and stress. In working with children, my approach includes collaboratively working with the child and their family through their presenting issues and helping institute sustainable changes to foster individual growth in the child and relational growth in the family. This often includes psycho-education and coaching for parents in addition to individual therapy for the child. In working with adults I utilize a range of methods from existential to behavioral depending on the specific needs of the individual.

I use Insight, Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy amongst others because they put the power back into your hands where it belongs. I work with people across the lifespan to find acceptance and thrive. I support people in finding their voices both literally, via Assisted Technology and figuratively. The traits of Autism, ADHD and neurodivergence can be overwhelming and lead to depression and anxiety. Feeling misunderstood is sad and isolating. Hello there! I have been working with children, adolescents, young adults transitioning into adulthood and families since March of 2019, and I have experience working with trauma, anxiety, depression, as well as parenting.
