I've been a therapist for over 35 years, generating great confidence in my expertise. My style is personal and interactive and I love meeting with people. I draw from contemplative and cognitive-behavioral theories, utilizing Internal Family Systems theory as the primary fuel for healing and restoration. I respect the role of spirituality in a person's life, and honor all religious traditions. I help my clients explore their current struggles through the lens of trauma, honoring the delicate balance between nature and nurture. My goal is to help an individual find peace through embracing their authentic Self.

Nhautrey is the owner of Why’s Words Therapy. Nhautrey works with clients between the ages of 3-70 years old, and has worked with clients from various cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds in the form of individual, family, and group therapy. I have extensive clinical, research, and academic experience working with people who have experienced trauma and serious mental illness. I work with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, perfectionism and relationship concerns helping them discover deeper fulfillment through healing and building healthier relationships. I'm relationally focused and can hold space for those in need and skilled at getting to the heart of the matter, working at a pace that feels right to you.

I am a marriage and family therapist associate licensed in Washington State and a clinical ethics consultant. I have been providing psychotherapy for the past eight years. I work with diverse populations, including but not limited to refugee communities, schools, community clinics, and hospitals. I also work with those struggling with mood disorders, relationship problems, and addictions. I have specialized experience and training in assisting those overcoming trauma, including child sexual abuse. My goal as a psychotherapist is to provide all my clients with a safe environment where they can comfortably share their experiences.

My primary method of psychotherapy is empathic dialogue. My approach to mental health counseling is informed by the philosophy that each client is the expert concerning his/her/their own condition. This philosophy holds the premise that each person, subconsciously, knows what is best for his/her/their individual happiness. In my practice, mental health therapy is a collaboration between client and therapist, whereby client is encouraged to explore his/her/their thoughts, feelings and behaviors, while I as the therapist listen, reflect, amplify affirm, and occasionally challenge the client.

Kalyan Dandala, MD , is passionate about changing the status quo for psychiatric care. She is a leader in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment and is a clinical consultant for the most preferred TMS system by physicians: Magventure. Her goal is to make TMS available to as many people as possible. Kaylan was the first physician in Washington State to make TMS available to Medicare and Medicaid patients. She continues to work with the National Clinical TMS Society to expand TMS treatments.
