My role in the therapy process is to facilitate the achievement of target objectives and to foster insight and skills to improve the experience of living now and into the future. With an educational background in marriage and family therapy, and specialty training in Sex Therapy, Sexuality Education, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (attachment theory), Emotion Freedom Technique, and Eden Energy Medicine, I work across cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and energetic dimensions to achieve solid, long-term results.

Born in Olympia, Washington and raised around the world, I have always had a desire to help others. I completed the Master of Social Work program through the University of Southern California with a focus on Clinical Mental Health in 2018. I am very person centered and enjoy being able to meet my client’s where they are, utilizing Evidence Based Practices to assist them in achieving our established SMART goals.

I am available for in person and online therapy at my office in Yelm. I am passionate about working with couples, families, and individuals in positive and creative ways. In therapy, we build on strengths and capabilities you already have, using different therapeutic techniques appropriate for your unique situation. With couples and families, we build communication skills, and intentionally grow deeper connections, and stronger relationships. Humor, and playful interaction is encouraged. For couples, I have special training in communication, and sex therapy.

I am passionate about helping clients heal and transform through an eco-art therapeutic approach that combines art, nature and play. Working and playing in a natural setting, I offer a variety of mediums to encourage growth, both indoors and out. This allows an emergent and imaginative approach to therapy that adapts to fit the unique needs of each individual, couple, family and group. Moving from sand tray to clay, collage to art journaling, clients can walk outdoors on paths that meander past waterways and through old growth forests. With labyrinths, meditative walks and an enormous sound chamber, I offer many creative outlets.

I believe our lives are constructed within the many relationship connections we experience throughout the lifespan; and this is what fuels my passion to work with individuals, couples, and families at all ages and stages of life. I am not currently accepting new clients. I am a child & adolescent therapist, with a focus on helping children with ADHD & co-occurring disorders. Often children are reacting to difficult life circumstances and need help processing their feelings. These problems can cause additional stress on the family and damage relationships. I work to help the child & family through the difficult time and repair relationships.
