I am forever inspired by the resilience, innate wisdom, and healing capacity of the individuals, couples, and families with whom I work. My role in the therapy process is to facilitate the achievement of target objectives and to foster insight and skills to improve the experience of living now and into the future. With an educational background in marriage and family therapy, and specialty training in Sex Therapy, Sexuality Education, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (attachment theory), Emotion Freedom Technique, and Eden Energy Medicine, I work across cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and energetic dimensions to achieve solid, long-term results.
My approach, qualifications, and interdisciplinary training are quite unique to the community. And my interests are broad: I enjoy working with culturally, behaviorally, and cognitively diverse populations, with a myriad of presenting issues.
Primarily I work with adult individuals, couples and relationships, presenting with or without depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns that impact or are impacted by the presenting problem. I love the challenges inherent in this work, as each person is unique in terms of characteristics and history.
