Sometimes we all need a little help. I have worked with adults and families managing illness, life transitions, depression, anxiety and many other issues. I have worked in the field of community mental health, hospice, hospital, non-profit both public and private organizations.

I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy which involves integrating various elements of different theories and practice. I lean most heavily on approaches focused on how people’s thinking can change feelings and behaviors while also implementing an approach focused on helping clients achieve their highest potential. Instead of energy spent on the past or negative behaviors, I emphasize the goodness in clients and work toward growth and self-actualization. I also use approaches oriented toward problem-solving including Hypnotherapy, NLP Brain Training, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Coaching, and EMDR therapy.

I enjoy working with clients where they are and helping them to work through the difficult situations they are experiencing. Each person has their own unique gifts and strengths that they can learn to depend on. The transition through life can be a very difficult time for both the patient and their family. My goals when working with patients are to help them increase their communication, teach them to embrace differences, help them accept themselves and empower them to tell their own story to find out who they want to be. I have worked with a vast variety of patients from residential, acute, crisis, PHP and IOP services.

I find great joy in investing in the lives of others. I consider it a privilege to facilitate counseling and be able to help people manage and navigate through difficult life experiences and transitions. I would like to walk alongside you through whatever challenges you may be currently experiencing. Accepting New Clients. I offer HIPPA compliant online video counseling sessions as well as in-person sessions. Depression, anxiety and adjustment issues are areas in which I have extensive experience. Adult Children of Alcoholics and persons dealing with narcissitic abuse are specialty areas in which I work. I have a great affinity for working with clients who are suffering with grief and loss issues such as a death or loss of a relationship.
