I provide a wide variety of clinical and forensic parent/child, civil, and criminal assessments in court cases, and am licensed in VA and NC. I specialize in Intimate Partner Violence/Coercive Control cases, child physical/sexual abuse, and trauma assessments. When asked for court testimony, I specialize in coercive control, ACEs for children at risk, and informing courts on ACEs' detrimental effects on all parties involved. I can also administer psychological/psychosexual evaluations, mental status, insanity, competency, and pre-employment assessments. Amber is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her background includes working with and treating ADHD, oppositional defiant, anxiety and stress, depression, grief and loss, and trauma. Amber is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilizes a combination of cognitive behavioral, play, and person-centered techniques to help her clients achieve their goals. Amber welcomes clients from 5 years old to adults.
