Finding Ease in Dis-ease
This group is an integrated approach to healing chronic pain and dis-ease. The program defines Mind/Body Syndrome as the manifestation of physical symptoms due to repressed emotions. MBS is universal and associated with many common health problems. There are personality traits connected to habitual thought patterns that produce stress overload. Excesive stress constricts blood flow and oxygen to nerves, muscles, tendons, etc. producing pain. Discussion covers strategies reversing MBS to eliminate chronic dis-ease. The group combines lecture and practical exercises; it also includes CDs describing MBS dynamics and therapeutic meditations.
