I provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors and offer individual, family, and couples counseling sessions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge clients' unrealistic beliefs and change their behaviors. In addition, I practice Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to assist individuals in identifying their strengths through growth and self-discovery to aid them in reaching their future goals.

I am a Christian, a husband, a father, a classically trained psychotherapist, and a combat veteran, and I believe all these parts of my identity work together to produce who I am as a counselor. As a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), I utilize my professional experiences, ongoing research knowledge, passion for wellness, and time in community mental health and private practice settings to provide an integrative approach to counseling. I attained a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and attained a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I offer services based on a variety of therapeutic modalities and work with individuals, couples, and families based on evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions such as CBT, DBT, SFBT, and strength-based models.

I have a strong belief in each person's ability to "heal" and help themselves with the assistance and empowerment of counseling.
