My ideal client is anyone who wants a better life and is willing to take a look inward. They are feeling overwhelmed, stressed out or just not satisfied with where they find themselves in their life. They want to know why they do what they do, think what they think and feel what they feel. They most likely have unresolved trauma and/or grief. Their goal is to be able to function in this world in a more positive and balanced way. They seek a brighter future.
I am a retired firefighter/paramedic, and have experience working with veterans and first responders. I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for the treatment of PTSD. I offer an understanding of trauma, grief and stress, and promote self-care in all my clients.
I am devoted to helping people resolve their grief and trauma, having seen so much of it in my career and my life. When people fail to acknowledge their pain, it finds a way to show up, often in very detrimental ways. Don't be afraid to unpack some of that baggage you are carrying around.
