I'm a LPC Associate who uses a strengths-based model like solution-focused therapy and CBT. I'm also in pursuit of my Registered Play Therapy credential. I work well with all ages and treat symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, anger management, trauma, etc. I help my clients to find their strengths and move towards their wellness goals!

I’m able to establish and maintain successful counseling relationships with persons from diverse backgrounds and ages in a time sensitive manner. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I strive to create opportunities to increase hope, recognize possibilities, and build purpose, along with reducing stress and decreasing anxiety. Together we identify goals and strategies to enhance the capacity to live a more productive and meaningful life.

All sessions will be a video call. My goal is to help my clients restore balance and/or overcome obstacles in their life. I have over 15 years of clinical experience. The issues I work most often with are depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, communication skills and relationship problems, trauma and PTSD. I strive to work with a client and be flexible with my approaches. I encourage feedback and value the opinion of my clients. The same approach doesn't work for everyone because people have different preferences and personalities. I pride myself in the quality of care that I provide and hold myself to the highest standards.

My clients come from many situations. Mostly they come to me with brokenness, some are addicted to drugs, alcohol and/or sex. Some struggle inside their marriages. Others arrive with deep longings to be of value or feel worthy. I see a large number of men with sexual addiction. I see wives that feel traumatized and betrayed. Often people arrive in my office in a crisis. Most couples I see are in some form of a conflict cycle; they each have hurt feelings and cannot seem to get unstuck from the cycle. As I also conduct psychological assessments, some clients come to me to to be tested for various reasons, such as legal issues

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked in various areas to include foster care and adoption, single mothers, parenting and personal development. I have experience in the areas of fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, women's issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, conflict resolution, and healthy relationship skills. I am passionate about helping women experience the freedom that comes from rediscovering their identity during the many life transitions and/or events that can cause us to lose sight of it along the way.
