My clients will grow in ways they never imagined possible by working with me. I provide individual and couple counseling to those dealing with trauma, addiction and codependence/relational issues. I incorporate experiential therapy when talk therapy isn't enough. Clients will not only gain self-awareness during our sessions but will also begin to understand the "why" that influences their behaviors. Clients will be educated and empowered throughout our sessions together.

Talking about your concerns can help clarify what you want and need in your life. Finding choices helps us to grow and change personally and emotionally. I am here to give you the knowledge, perspective and experience gained through working with people in therapy for over 30 years. As a licensed professional counselor with experience in providing preteen, teen, couples, and individual counseling, let me offer you a warm and accepting environment where being non-judgmental is necessary to make you feel comfortable. Please note I work by telehealth only and my hours are Sunday through Friday from 7am to 3pm.

I have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, and I am eager to work with all clients wishing to grow, particularly in their relationships. I focus on all of the things that come together to make people who they are and utilize relational cultural theory (RCT). This means work with me tends to be more personal, as a means to help you grow in relationships. During trying times, I help individuals manage loneliness, grief, anxiety, depression, and other personal issues. In supervision of LPC Associates I utilize RCT and systems theories or others to meet the needs of their work. I teach doctoral and master’s students.

Antwine D. Charles Sr is a retired veteran who served 24 years as a Navy Corpsman (medic) in the U.S. Navy. Serving in many countries and theatre’s, Antwine encountered many different cultures, in various war-torn, under-developed, and impoverished communities. Earning his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, his interest include other cultures, customs and traditions. His journey ignited his interest in multi-cultural counseling, community servanthood and an endeavor to bring Mental Healthcare to those who are in need of counseling services wherever he can.

My passion is helping people who struggle in their daily lives with anxiety, anger, depression and PTSD. These can all be overwhelming and can make someone feel left out. Often, they can make someone believe they are not capable of living a normal life. Hey Y'all I'm Marvin! Some of my passions include working with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks. I enjoy working with individuals and couples. I have additional training on Emotion Focused Therapy allowing me to connect with attachment needs and help heal through establishing a secure attachment in relationships.

At this time I am only taking cash paying (out of pocket) clients. I currently have a wait-list for all others who wish to use their benefits until August 2024, I do have a network of therapists available to provide therapy online and in-person.
