I work with adolescents, adults, parents, and families with a variety of challenges including self-harm & suicidal behaviors, grief, stress, ADHD, mood (depression disorder), anxiety, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. I also specialize in educational psychology and provide consulting. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and holistic; as well as evidence based, meaning I use treatments that have been supported by research.

Welcome! I earned my doctorate and master's in counseling and psychology from Texas A&M University. When human beings experience trauma or severe stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. My great passion is bringing healing to people who have been through traumatic experiences like grief, depression or self harm when they are feeling like they are not enough, or anxiety in social or life adjustments. I wish to help children of ages 7+, teens 12-18, and adults/adolescents 18-30 to find perceptions about themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can know themselves and feel whole and safe.

My particular passion is for taking broken and hurting marriages and helping restore them to God's design for how a marriage relationship is supposed to work. I have helped many couples recover successfully from infidelity. I also work with a broad range of issues, including depression, anxiety, caregiver issues, grief, and life-stage adjustments. I love doing premarital counseling, and believe that this is a critical step in establishing a healthy marriage. I am also familiar with military/ veteran issues.
