Despite our best efforts, sometimes life feels completely overwhelming. Sometimes we get thrown a curve ball and have a hard time knowing how to bounce back. When this happens, it's helpful to have someone who will lean in and listen to our story, someone who can help make sense of the pieces. In fact, therapy is often like putting together a puzzle. We begin by turning over the jumbled puzzle pieces from the box and start examining them. From there we can start putting the pieces together little by little. As a counselor, I help clients create order and meaning out what feels like jumbled, confusing feelings and situations.

I am an independently Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) who integrates Christian faith with professional mental health training and skills. It is important to me to provide quality, professional counseling services that honors God and the value and dignity of each of my clients. I love working with women, children, adolescents, and families. I began my counseling career in 2017. Prior to counseling, I taught 3rd and 4th grade in a public school. As a counselor, I have worked in non-profits, private practices, foster care settings, and in public schools.

These are valid thoughts and feelings when you feel gripped by anxiety, or life isn't going as you had thought or planned.
