Helping others to accomplish personal improvement is what I enjoy most. My goal is to guide individuals to be a better them, help develop more healthy and meaningful relationships, and create a more positive perception on themselves, life, and others. My specialty populations are teens, as well as adults struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, or life transitions. I am also passionate about helping new parents prepare for their new lives with babies, and postpartum depression.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I help adults, adolescents and their families restore balance to their lives. My experience includes 17 years in private practice and over 20 years in the addiction field, including; substances, food, sex & religion. As an alternative option to traditional counseling, I offer an Intensive Program. Intensives are highly individualized and designed to assist clients in reaching their goals quicker. Clients who want to fast track their results or deep dive into an area of concern should consider doing and Intensive.

I deliver cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to adult, seniors, and teens with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship problems. I try to build on an individual's strengths and individualize therapy to each person's need. I studied abroad in Costa Rica during college where I learned the Spanish language and where my love of adventure and exploration began. After moving to Los Angeles for several years, I decided to then move to New York City to pursue a career in music which is my first love. I was living in NYC and working for Sony Music on September 11, 2001 which changed my life dramatically. I decided to return to The University of Texas in Austin and obtained my Masters in Social Work in an effort to pursue a career in helping others which is my second love.
