Trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I offer therapy/coaching that is client-centered, compassionate, and grounded in psychological science. ACT is not strictly the reduction of symptoms. The goal is development of mental and emotional flexibility that allows clients to adapt effectively to a variety of problems and to live meaningful and rich lives.

For over 40 years, Drs David and Dr. Margie McKeon have practiced in Texas as counselors who specialize working with the couples. Learning from their professional training and 40 +-year marriage, they help partners create harmonious and thriving relationships. The McKeons received their doctorial degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling form Texas A&M University, Commerce where Dr. David also taught on faculty and directed the internship for doctorial students. They trained extensively with Dr. Harville Hendrix, founder Imago Relationship Therapy and author of the best-selling book "Getting the Love You Want."

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, and Brief Therapy approaches to help those hurting.
