I am a licensed psychologist and licensed specialist in school psychology. My practice serves adults, adolescents, children, and families. I use a problem-solving, collaborative, pragmatic approach which is helpful in achieving positive results quickly. My specialities include treating youth and adults with anxiety, depression, and trauma histories, as well as child and adolescent concerns such as ADHD and defiance. I am available to support veterans who are experiencing PTSD and adjustment issues related to returning to civilian life. Additionally, I work with older adults who might be experiencing depression, adjustment difficulties, or other mental health concerns.

Life is everchanging. My clients are experiencing challenges that require them to change in order to go forward. Some clients are interested in dreams and personal growth over time. Others want some immediate support to help them sort out the difficulties they currently face: whether it be the loss of a relationship, a career, a difficult illness, or some other major change in one's orientation to life. I have been practicing as a therapist for more than 5 years and I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I work with adolescents 12+ and with adults of all ages. In addition to individual therapy, I also work with couples and families on a wide variety of topics. I like to say that I had a “short,” 14 year career in the Air Force before deciding to become a social worker. After separating from the Air Force, I attended UT Austin and earned my MSSW in my journey to becoming a licensed social worker.

Erin Schovanec is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and dance/movement therapist who has 16 years of experience as an expressive and creative mental health professional. Erin’s clinical experience has ranged in various treatment settings including outpatient therapy, Treatment Foster Care, and residential treatment. She has served children, adolescents, and adults experiencing symptoms related to attachment, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.

Anyone struggling with any compulsive, values-incongruent behavior can find freedom, intimacy, and healthy sex- (which can include kinky fun). My clients are stressed out busy adults and sometimes teens. I employ EMDR, talk therapy, mindfulness, outdoor therapy, somatic work and VR exposures to tailor treatment. My current personal passion is to encourage anyone that (despite their best efforts) is not living the life that they desire, to exclude ADHD from possible concerns with the objective QbCheck.
