I provide safe, nurturing sessions for individuals and couples to embrace the therapeutic process and work through current and past issues that may be causing additional stress/concerns . I have worked with children as young as six and adults well into their nineties. I currently, accept clients for the following: crisis intervention, grief, depression, anxiety, stress, adjusting to life transitions, marital problems and pre-marital counseling.

Hello! My name is Nancy Jimenez-Mota, but you can call me Nancy :). I believe to work with my clients and meet the needs they have. On the other hand I'll bring observations I make based on the information we discuss and offer insight, options, and evidence to support your growth. I have treated people facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, mental disorders, life changes, such as divorce, empty nest, loss of jobs, loss of relationships, and others. I will treat you with honesty, I'll be real with you, and I don't seek perfection. I like to go deep and find the root of the problem to improve your levels of happiness in life.

For the past 12 years I have specialized in working with teens, adults and families who have experienced trauma, life changing events and/or mental health issues that have impacted their lives. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

I am a friendly and experienced board-certified counselor dedicated to helping children, teenagers, and adults alike. I have over two decades of experience working with anxiety, grief, depression, and emotional and behavioral disorders. I further have worked extensively with forensic cases in treatment and evaluative roles, particularly as an expert in mental health testing and diagnosis. Since founding Mansfield Counseling, I have completed over 1200 diagnostic evaluations and assessments.

The most important aspect of therapy is the alliance between client and clinician. As a psychologist, my first priority is to provide an empathic and non-judgmental environment for clients.
