I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a 200-hour Kripalu Yoga teacher. I have a passion for holistic healing & and enjoy empowering my clients toward their goals. I use a range of approaches such as CBT, DBT, Internal Family systems, anger management, and peaceful communication strategies. I work with adults who are 18+.

I specialize in supporting people who seek growth in personal development, navigating life transitions, relationship issues, parent coaching, dating coaching and goal development.

I blend a professional expertise with a down-to-earth approach, ensuring that while we navigate your journey, we're also building a connection that feels genuine and supportive. Navigating complex emotions, traumatic experiences, or daily stressors can be overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. My approach is all about creating a space where you're seen and heard, blending empathy with evidence-based strategies to support your journey towards healing. My job is to help facilitate the process, keeping in mind you are the expert of your own life. Together, we will work to promote positive change.

Ideal clients include those who are interested in making changes in their lives, and are open to having people support them in making changes. Although I have a background in primarily working with adult and adolescent female identified individuals, I am open to working with various social identities and on a variety of goals. My specific background includes; domestic violence, sexual assault, child and adult trauma. Additionally, I have a background in working with individuals in crisis and or with either new or chronic mental health challenges.

As your therapist, my primary goal is what's best for YOU, based on YOUR goals, and Your needs. I work primarily with individuals and couples struggling with infertility, pregnancy loss, pregnancy, and post-partum complications. If you have been struggling to conceive, feeling anxious while pregnant, worried about your pending delivery/birth, had a difficult experience in the hospital or recovering from birth related injuries, or possibly looking to increase intimacy after a baby or a loss. I utilize different clinical approaches to support all clients on their path to wellness.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) - Level 2 Trained. You’ve tried a lot of things to help yourself - mindfulness, meditation, yoga, exercise and more. You are relieved for a time, until it all comes back, sometimes worse than before. On the outside, you pride yourself on being an intelligent person, a strong individual, a committed worker, a loyal friend. Perhaps you identify as a member of the LBGTQ+ community. Yet these days you find yourself spinning inside. You can’t shake these feelings of being out of control. Sometimes your behavior really is.

Specializing in individual & couples counseling (e.g. those struggling with infidelity, addiction, high levels of conflict, dissatisfaction, inability to communicate or "stage of life" changes). My clients are typically professionals, first responders (fire, police, EMT, hospital staff), couples, trauma survivors, those in addiction recovery & those struggling with grief and loss. For over three decades, I have worked effectively with individuals & families of all types and persuasions. I employ both evidence-based & observation-based practices but believe a therapist's life-long experience is always the best predictor of success.

I work best with people who have survived adverse childhood experiences, loss, abuse and trauma, and want to continue in their recovery from trauma. Learning about the nervous system and how it adapts/reacts to cues to alert us of potential danger which can assist in regaining control of ourselves and the capacity to tolerate overwhelming emotions and develop skills to cope and self regulate. I bring to the therapeutic alliance academic training and lived experience recovering from childhood trauma, sexual abuse, food addiction, substance use and cooccurring disorders such as PTSD and depression.

In-person visits are available in our Westford location and will be available in our Marlborough location in December, 2021. I have extensive experience in treating adults with post-traumatic stress, including attachment and abandonment trauma, sexual trauma, domestic violence/intimate relationship trauma, physical and/or emotional abuse and neglect, military/combat trauma, traumatic grief and bereavement, physical and psychological trauma resulting from accident or injury, and related issues, including intimate-relationship conflict, depression, anxiety, and existential crises.

Facing change can be overwhelming. As I guide people through the process, I operate from a place of compassion, authenticity, and empathy. This may look different depending on the problems at hand. With addiction, I hold clients accountable to following through with their recovery plan. I do not shy away from defenses, manipulation, or games played by the addicted mind. With mental health problems, I tend to follow my client’s lead, offering support and suggestions/techniques grounded in science, research, and my experience. I also specialize in treating family members with loved ones struggling with addiction recover on their own.

Currently accepting new clients that are first responders and individuals seeking support around substance use (10/2/23). What if I told you recovery is more than sobriety and is a completely unique process? I believe everyone is in recovery from something. I support individuals in exploring, identifying, and building compassion for all parts of self allowing them to heAl. My therapeutic perspective is strongly influenced by Internal Family Systems, a non-pathologizing approach. I utilize a range of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing and am also trained in EMDR.
