My intention is to gently guide you towards your own innate wisdom and fully support you as your transformation unfolds. I prefer to take a direct, experiential approach, meeting each client where they are at and honoring their individual needs. I specialize in body-based (somatic) inquiry to address a variety of issues, with a specific interest in treating trauma, relationship issues, and addiction. My therapeutic approach is uniquely inspired from my own personal experience with healing, drawing from both ancient Eastern philosophy and modern research-based theories of attachment and developmental trauma.

If you're in California, I want you to know that I offer telehealth therapy, including evening appointments. As your therapist, my approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity. As a therapist (and sparkle homie), I seek to affirm, understand, and truly see folx. I utilize holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive therapies to be a partner in folxs’ journeys toward wholeness.

I am currently accepting adult clients for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy in Grass Valley, CA and Portland, OR. My regular therapy practice is only open for Telehealth. I work with individuals experiencing PTSD, grief, end-of life transition, eco-anxiety, treatment resistant depression, relational challenges, and integrating non-ordinary states of consciousness. I am passionate about helping clients gain insight through self-inquiry, heal attachment through authentic connection, release trauma through embodied awareness, and experience breakthrough by dismantling patterns that no longer serve them.

I have over 30 years experience counseling children and adolescents. I have always had a passion to help people and my interests and experience as a therapist have led me to working with children and trauma. When a person is very upset, their brain cannot process information as it does ordinarily. Highly emotionally charged experiences become ‘frozen in time’ and are not processed in the usual way. My goal is to help reprocess those events to a resolution that is life-affirming and strength-building.

Welcome! As a therapist who specializes in trauma recovery as well as inner journey work, I am experienced in helping my clients find their joy and express their most authentic selves, from deep healing to a more coaching style of transformational guidance. Using mindfulness, radical compassion, somatic awareness, internal family systems theory, and EMDR, I have witnessed incredible transformation in the lives of my clients. I’m truly honored to do this work. As a person with my own complex trauma history, I've experienced the challenges of learning regulation in my nervous system again.

I tend to work mostly with men who are searching to find balance, deeper meaning, and purpose in life. I specialize in working with professionals, including other therapists, but have clients from many other backgrounds as well. I view therapy as a sacred experience to help you connect with your highest self in order to create a unqiue path to growth and overcoming challenges. Traditional psychology tends to work on healing the self, whereas I see spirituality as more concerned with transcending the self. My perspective is both are important on the journey toward wellness and fulfillment in life.

Besides individual sessions, couples work sessions and Group Work, I also train clinicians in awareness based somatic psychotherapy. I also, hold two types of weekly groups that are ongoing, although they are open to new people from time time.
