Christine Almonord is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island who has been practicing since 2023. She has a BA in Child Advocacy & Psychology from Montclair State University, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching from the University of North Carolina, and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. Christine strives to assist children, adolescents, families, and young adults from a strengths-based, solution focused approach, and utilize modalities such as: Play Therapy, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Emotions Coaching, and Social Skills Building.

My clinical and therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, deconstructing therapy in a manner that allows individuals to grow. Areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, life transitions, sport psychology specifically athletes transitioning out of athletics (for various reasons), as well as cultural and racial challenges within the BIPOC population.

I am a bilingual licensed Mental Health Clinician and a licensed Chemical Dependency Professional serving the state of Rhode Island. With extensive experience in providing individual psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults., I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve emotional well-being and lead fulfilling lives. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island and a Master's degree in Mental Health from Johnson & Wales University. Over the past five years, I have worked extensively in the mental health field, providing compassionate care to all individuals.

Laura Valois has been a licensed clinician in Rhode Island since 2017. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Fairfield University in Connecticut and her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Latino Mental Health and Children and Families of Adversity and Resilience from William James College in Massachusetts. She completed her post-doctoral internship at Gershon Psychological Associates in Rhode Island. In addition to her work as a therapist and evaluator at LifeStance, she also teaching Doctoring at Brown Medical School.
