I am a licensed clinical clinical social worker, with a Master of Science in Social Work from Trinity, College, Dublin. and a Doctorate in Applied Social Sciences obtained from Concordia University, Montreal. Canada. I have over 25 years of child and family work, working in disability, fostering, & child welfare & protection services. My areas of expertise include child, adolescent and family therapy. I have a particular skills in working with adoptive & foster parents and social workers caring for or managing a child /youth with a suspected neuro-disability but does not meet criteria for diagnosis.

I have been working in the human services field for over 15 years in a variety of settings; including private agencies, outpatient clinics, school departments, and hospital settings; while serving children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, I have extensive experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Our focus is building upon our clients strengths to give your child the resilience needed to achieve a well balanced life. Individualized instruction in social learning and emotional regulation will help clients make and maintain social connections. I have been in private practice for over 15 years specializing in treating individuals from age 12 into older adulthood. I have extensive psychodynamic training but ulilize an eclectic intervention approach. I believe in direct and honest feedback which works well for most patients.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker for Massachusetts and Rhode Island. After graduating from Rhode Island College with my Master of Social Work degree, I worked as a School Social Worker providing mental health, social skill, and behavioral support to children and adolescents. I have additional experience providing outpatient therapy within community mental health and supporting individuals facing stressors resulting from crisis, trauma, life transitions, and structural and systematic challenges.
