For over 20 years I have supported and walked alongside people affected by trauma and major life changes. I am in awe of the resilience, wisdom, and capacity for healing in those I have served. This may be the time for you: to learn to be more self compassionate, to grieve so you may live more fully, and to remember or realize how amazing you are.

Primary Therapist Danny Seliger studied at Rhode Island College where he graduated cum laude with a double major in psychology and chemical dependency/addiction studies. Danny is a person in long term recovery and has worked as a substance use clinician at many different levels of care including outpatient, residential, and in an acute psychiatric hospital. Danny’s experience in all these settings has given him a unique skill set in which he is able to treat a variety of substance use and co-occurring issues.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with experience in clinical, school, and community settings. I work with adults of all ages as well as with couples. I am committed to ongoing training to bring updated treatment models into my work. I believe relationships are the biggest resource we have, and I strive to bring couples closer to your natural resources. I honor and encourage a collaborative therapeutic relationship, and I aim to maintain a safe, non-judgemental space for us to work together. I am a clinical social worker who specializes in perinatal mental health. Whether you are pregnant, the partner of someone who is, or postpartum, I am here to support you in your experience. In addition to treating perinatal issues, I focus on grief and loss, obsessive compulsive disorders, and treating trauma. I enjoy working with LGBTQ populations, particularly with teens, and issues around family planning and relationships. Depending on what we see as your areas of need, I am happy to work on a short or longer term basis. I am currently conducting all appointments via Zoom or phone only.

If you have experienced a trauma, I would love to work with you. Helping clients heal from trauma, which includes managing their stress and anxiety, is my area of expertise. Additionally, I’ll work with you to improve your self-esteem, improve your quality of sleep, and strengthen your relationships with others. This is especially true with couples (e.g., positive communication, strengthening bonds, improving sexual health/managing intimacy issues). In addition to individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, I particularly enjoy working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, children and adolescents, families, and couples.

Kevin Keoghan is a lifelong Rhode Islander, born and raised in Warwick. Kevin attended the University of Rhode Island where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After spending time in the business world and finding recovery himself, Kevin made a career change into the field of addiction recovery in order to help others. Kevin became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with Anchor Recovery Community Center where he worked at the center as a recovery coach, on the mobile outreach team in the community, as well as being a responder to Providence’s Safe Stations program.

Tim Laprade, a Rhode Island native and former paratrooper in the US Army, is a Certified Peer Specialist and addiction counselor who’s focus has been working with individuals who have also experienced trauma and substance abuse issues. He was selected amongst his peers for Rhode Island College’s accelerated Master’s program in Social Work. He has invested time to educating clinicians at VA hospitals across the US on evidence-based practices for veterans who have experienced trauma. Tim has been trained in CBT, CPT, and mindfulness practices and takes a strengths-based approach to his work.

I am passionate about providing high quality treatment for someone affected by addiction and/or mental health. With my dual licenses as a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed clinical drug and alcohol counselor, I have the unique training, education, and experience to provide therapy for individuals suffering from an addiction or mental health disorder and their spouses and families. I understand how mental health and addiction disorders can wreck havoc on an individual and family as well as the ensuing struggles to get back on track. I work with my clients to enable them to live a healthy, sober lifestyle.
