Kevin Keoghan is a lifelong Rhode Islander, born and raised in Warwick. Kevin attended the University of Rhode Island where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After spending time in the business world and finding recovery himself, Kevin made a career change into the field of addiction recovery in order to help others. Kevin became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist with Anchor Recovery Community Center where he worked at the center as a recovery coach, on the mobile outreach team in the community, as well as being a responder to Providence’s Safe Stations program.
Kevin worked with the Rhode Island HOPE Initiative where he would assist law enforcement in attempts to outreach those affected by a recent overdose and provide help and access to services. He is extremely well versed in crisis intervention and navigating the Rhode Island behavioral health system to make sure patients get the appropriate help they need.
