At Harmony Harbor Counseling & Wellness, you are welcomed with an inviting, warm, spa-like setting in Sarasota, Florida. We are a team of well-trained therapists providing trauma-informed care with a focus on building skills. Our team works from a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) framework for children (3 years old & up), adults, & families. We provide skills-building groups for teens and individuals. Each of us are trained in some form of trauma-informed care, providing help to those who need relief and support from intense emotions and urges. It is our intention to teach you the skills you need to build the life you deserve.

It has been rightly said that all of life revolves around relationships. What we also know is that we’re living in day and age where stress, anxiety, depression, grief, loss, trauma, self-esteem, addictions, and life transitions are at an all-time high. I believe that healing is found within the context of relationships. My passion is to come along side you and your family to provide recourses and tools needed to live an abundant life through maintaining healthy relationships.

My approach to healing is to encourage you to unlearn and challenge deep rooted childhood patterns and maladaptive beliefs that you are undeserving of love & nurturing relationships. I would be honored to provide you with a safe place to tell your story and challenge these beliefs. My focus is to help individuals who are cycle breakers to begin to balancing emotions, reprocess traumatic events, break patterns of generational trauma, connect with their inner child and become aware of their inner warrior strengths. I enjoy working with women: tweens, adolescents, young professionals, mother's and other therapists.

Taking charge of your healing journey is a heroic step. Much like training for an athletic challenge, it requires dedication, courage, determination, and self-love - as well as a good coach. We will do incredible work together if you are motivated to commit to your own growth process, are curious and open-minded, and are willing to do the sometimes difficult mental, emotional, and spiritual work to change habits and patterns that no longer serve you or those you care about. I'm especially passionate about working with healers, helpers, teachers, parents, caregivers, and people healing from childhood and intergenerational trauma.

I will support you during sessions so that you better understand how you experience life, resulting in feeling more comfortable as you approach challenges. I work with adults, teens, and children. I have spent my career learning how to find the best approach that feels right for each person. For adults this often includes getting to know yourself better with increased compassion. For children, I support learning new ways to reduce childhood stressors and acting out behaviors, often through play. This results in positive feelings between parents and their children.
