I work with individuals seeking relief from the troubling effects of trauma, the negative impacts of unhealthy communication styles, and the harmful consequences of substance use as well as other behavioral addictions. My clients include teens, adults, couples, and families. The foundation of my practice is rooted in warmth, authenticity, compassion, and humor, backed by evidenced-based therapeutic methods.

I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, teens, families (traditional and blended), and young adults launching into the college experience. My role is to simply hold space for you. Create a safe environment and assist you in making sense of your story. The goal is to find balance between "what to hold on to" and "what to let go of". The evidenced based treatment approaches I use, assist with identifying and exploring underlying factors that continue to cause unwarranted anxiety, trauma, and depression. I am a certified Trust Based Relational Practitioner (TBRI), an attachment-based trauma informed interventionist, the focus is on meeting the complex needs of the vulnerable. I graduated from John Brown University in 2018 with a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Play Therapy. I have extensive training in trauma informed care, attachment based interventions, experiential play therapy, child centered play, Adlerian play and has completed level 1 theraplay training.

While talk therapy offers critical and necessary support during overwhelming periods of life, some of us feel as if life contains an "overwhelming period" on a nearly daily basis. Neurodivergent Therapies' owner (Alyson "Rae" Pittman, LPC) began wondering how the efficacy of therapy could be improved and the needed timeline shortened. One treatment addition for both of these goals is Neurofeedback (NFB) Training, a non-invasive and non-medication option for teaching your brain the rhythms, patterns, and "dance steps" your brain has yet to effectively learn.
