“What matters?” This is one of the most important questions I can ask of my clients. Without knowing what matters what they are passionate about, neither of us know why we are in the “room." To figure out the why (Why WOULD I do my homework, why would I go to practice, etc.) gives us a meaningful direction. Also let’s talk about fun. Isn’t that the whole point of NOT being an adult? If I’m not enjoying the session, I can bet my client is definitely not. One of my skills is helping clients make connections between their past experiences and current thoughts, feelings and behaviors, which promotes healing from trauma and grief. Kelsey Siegel (she/her/hers) is a licensed clinical social worker with over 13 years of experience working as an individual and family therapist, specializing in working with children and their families. Kelsey has worked in a variety of environments, including in-home and school based services. Kelsey is dedicated to establishing relationships with folks in ways that feel supportive and safe, while holding space for the healing process to unfold. She is committed to advocating for equity within mental health services both individually and on larger levels, acknowledging that power and privilege impact wellness and accessibility.

I work with adolescents and adults who are seeking support in facing daily life stressors, managing their mental health and trauma symptoms, and with building coping skills. I also work with families and couples with navigating interpersonal conflict.

Chocolate, snowboarding, and shopping can be therapeutic, but sometimes they're not enough. I see teenagers, adults, and families when struggles get in the way of fun and suffering becomes too familiar. Friends and family hopefully are there when we need them, yet therapists can provide additional essentials: nonjudgmental, individual attention in a safe setting. Relationships are central to our well-being, and the therapy process involves building a relationship. Through this approach individuals are able to shift out of old patterning, self-limiting beliefs, thoughts, and habits. I am able to help one get to the deeper core issues that are blocking them from living a full and happy life.

Jennifer has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Development from the University of Wisconsin-Green. She earned her master's degree in counseling at Marquette University in 2008. She has over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, utilizing a variety of theoretical perspectives. Her passion for working with children and their families dates to her days as a pre-school teacher, followed by providing in-home care in the inner city of Milwaukee.

Brenda Lovick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Wisconsin who has been practicing since 2014. She has a Certificate of Studies in Lutheran Studies from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Family Studies, and Music from St. Olaf College. Brenda is interested in the intersection of spirituality and sexuality. She understands religious trauma.
