I have years of experience counseling people of all ages with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, grief, OCD, autism, substance use disorder & many others. With over twenty-five years of experience, I believe that the issues we face can be dealt with by choosing how we view them. I use a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and rational living therapy to help clients determine what they see as issues and how they want to manage them. I focus on helping clients minimize or eliminate problem behaviors and thoughts and increase positive coping skills, thinking skills and day to day management skills. I am a straight forward, conversational therapist with a dry sense of humor. My motivation is your improvement and your release from the areas where you are stuck.

For over 20 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in multiple behavioral health settings which have included private practice, outpatient behavioral agencies, schools, drug and alcohol centers, and in-patient units.

Over the past 30 plus years of providing counseling to children/adolescents, adults, couples and families, I have offered a very safe environment for people to begin healing from relationship issues, past traumas, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, etc. I particularly work with individuals going through life transitions, healing from childhood trauma and/or abuse, divorce, adoption and addiction recovery. I integrate mindfulness practices and somatic body work as well.
