Our mission is to positively impact the mental wellness of Asian American & Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) and their communities through culturally responsive mental health care, intersectional education, community connection, and affinity-based mentorship. Mango Tree Counseling & Consulting is a mental health resource center that centers on the needs of the Asian-American Community in the Philadelphia Metro area and the states of PA and New Jersey. We provide healing-centered approaches toward mental health wellness and support our communities in finding a home in their bodies, minds, and communities.

Deborah's career in addictions counseling began in 1992 at Eugenia Psychiatric Hospital. There she was a vital member of the "Safe Haven" staff; specializing in providing an environment of healing for sexually abused and addicted women. Her specialty groups consisted of issues related to addiction, sexual abuse, eating disorders and anger management. Her work at Eugenia also included extensive counseling with adolescents as well as the general population. Deborah's commitment to those suffering from addictions led her to Villanova University, where she achieved her Certification in Addictions Counseling.

At Peaceful Living we want to see people learn, heal, and grow. We work with you to help gain the awareness and support needed to fulfill your life goals and purpose. Our support through counseling, coaching, and anger management services is available to adults, adolescents, and couples, and groups online and in our office.

We established the practice to meet the growing mental health needs of individuals in the Greater Philadelphia area. We provide psychotherapy and educational services. I have worked in a variety of settings, including an inpatient and outpatient-psychiatry center, a foster care residential facility, a women’s counseling agency, and a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic. I currently see clients in my private practice in Philadelphia for short-term (10-12 sessions) or long-term treatment (6 months or longer), depending on their goals.
