My name is Charlley (he/him), I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor, with over 5 years of experience. We're living during a time where seeking counseling can evoke shame, change feels overwhelming, and relief or joy may even seem inaccessible. My clients are most successful when they approach this journey with some hope of seeking change and some willingness to make that change happen. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience joy and love, live authentically, reduce shame, and can connect with others and cope with the events that impact us in significant and painful ways.

Children and adolescents with learning differences can often have a tough time at school and in their communities. Understanding information in the classroom when being taught can be as tough as dealing with relationships. This presents a variety of expectations that require attention to detail, focus, and planning that are often difficult for diverse learners to handle effectively without help. These challenges are similar to what adults face when navigating work, family, and overall life demands. I value all people with learning differences, and I advocate for all by helping foster skills that make people prosper.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with over 1 year of experience. I believe everyone has the potential to be who they want to be, but life—especially in today's chaotic world—can be messy. Political stress, injustice, and uncertainty can feel unmanageable. My training is rooted in social justice, and I actively work to identify and address both the overt and covert effects of patriarchy, capitalism, and toxic masculinity. I provide a space where you can feel comfortable, supported, and safe to take the next step toward your goals. The stories we tell ourselves are powerful, and I hope to empower you.

Hi I'm Keith, and I'm a licensed therapist in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Florida. In life you have two choices- to live like or unlike the person you want to be. It's easy to look around and notice certain parts of your life that do not reflect the way you want to be living. Maybe you feel burdened by difficult emotions like anxiety or depression. Perhaps you're struggling with your identity, relationships or work. It could be that you're going through changes and feel overwhelmed, stressed out or lonely. Whatever the case may be, I'm here to help you find balance and live a life that looks more like the one you want to have.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist whose treatment is driven by the needs, goals, and aspirations of my clients. I work side by side with each person to articulate a vision of the life they want to live, and then systematically assist them to identify and overcome the barriers to attaining that vision. I strongly believe that people are capable of change and that they can develop healthier, more adaptive ways to problem- solve and cope with life’s stressors.

It is truly a privilege to be invited into the lives of others during a therapy session. As a licensed clinical psychologist, my philosophy of psychological treatment is based upon an empathic and compassionate therapeutic rapport which I consider the primary vehicle to interpersonal understanding, change and healing. I utilize a multi-modal approach grounded in psychodynamic theory and cognitive behavioral technique.

I believe psychodynamic therapy is a collaborative process through which you can learn about your relationships with yourself and others. Sometimes, our connections with family members, partners, or other people important to us reflect outdated strategies for living. The obstacles that arise with depression and anxiety often conceal unaddressed conflicts, unmet goals, and unspoken desires. I am especially drawn to working with those who feel lost, have difficulty clarifying their priorities, or are navigating the challenges that come with a profound change in their lives.

I encourage clients to look beyond immediate challenges to explore the patterns and beliefs that shape their lives. Rather than quick fixes, I invite a process of authentic self-discovery, even when it feels uncomfortable or uncertain. I believe meaningful growth happens within a relationship grounded in trust, honesty, and vulnerability. Together, we create a space where deeper understanding and genuine transformation can unfold. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and welcome clients in either language.

Male Therapists
As a man, why might I want to see a male therapist?
There are many reasons a man might wish to work with a male therapist, including a degree of shared identity, which may help client and therapist connect to each other and allow for a more free-flowing discussion of issues that can be deeply personal. Some men may feel more comfortable talking to a male therapist about relationship concerns, the pressures they feel around the roles society and family place on men, career or job challenges, self-esteem, or anger problems. For some men who have not had a male role models in their lives, a good male therapist may be especially helpful.

How can I find out about a therapist’s experience treating men?
Individuals looking for treatment should feel comfortable directly asking a therapist about their history treating men overall and the issues that arise in therapy with men. A good therapist will be happy to discuss such matters as well as their educational background, approach to treatment, and how they think they can aid a prospective client.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist of the same gender?
Therapy is not gender-specific, but some men as well as women feel more comfortable opening up about their experiences and history with therapists of a specific gender. An individual may feel that they have to explain less background information and be on the same page more quickly, particularly when discussing gender-specific challenges. That said, a good clinician can transcend most if not all gender concerns. Ultimately, the most important factor in therapy is the connection and trust the client is able to build with the practitioner.

Would a male therapist have specific training in treating men?
Generally, no. There are no certifications for treating men specifically, but there are continuing education classes that therapists may take that focus on treating men as a group. There are many therapists who focus on men and male issues in their treatment and therefore have experience and expertise in this domain.
