Hi! I’m Tim Reider! I'm a therapist who specializes in LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, depression/anxiety, and ADHD. If you are facing identity issues, relationship boundaries, family acceptance and outness, while also juggling your mental health, I can help you feel supported. I also help parents who aren’t sure how to support their LGBTQIA+ teens in environments that are unaccepting. If you are trans, I also can provide WPATH V8 format referral letters for transition care. If you are looking for a queer affirming therapist who can speak to your emotional health needs and the nuance of the community, get in touch!
I will always listen to your emotions first; I also have a background informed by neuroscience. My approach helps you feel your emotions while also learning why your brain's autopilot works the way it does. The perspective I offer goes beyond coping skills, to support a relationship to yourself where you can soothe and set limits on spiraling.
Therapy can be different for each person. Sometimes, it's the safe space to cry. Other times, it's the place where you make plans to get what you need.
