Hello. I have over 20 yrs of clinical experience with children, teens, and adults. I grew up in central Pennsylvania and attended Penn State for undergraduate schooling. I then earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Central Michigan University and later a masters degree in Psychopharmacology from Argosy University. I also completed a two year fellowship in Clinical Child Psychology to work with children, teens, and families. I enjoy working with all age groups. In my practice, I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to help them find solutions to the issues that have been bothering them. I value creating a strong, trusting relationship with my clients so that they feel comfortable and confident in our work together. I am a trained clinical counselor and have also been licensed as a minister for over 20 years. Using both an evidence based and faith based approach to counseling, I specialize in the application of scripture upon the myriad of issues that arises in one's life. I am a psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of complex trauma and PTSD. I believe in creating a relatable and safe space to work through the toughest parts of our past. While some trauma is overt, such as PTSD, other traumas can be hidden behind depression or anxiety. Emotional traumas can even arise from being raised by parents or guardians with personality disorders. I have over 10 years of experience using EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic interventions to address various forms of trauma.
