My treatment approaches include IFS (Internal Family Systems) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) modalities. I help people heal from sexuality issues, trauma, anxiety & OCD, as well as relationship challenges. I aim to get a deep understanding of how your life is for you and how you prefer it to be. The therapy process is unique for each person or couple. I will support & empower you, and I aspire to meet you with great respect, openness and transparency.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked with adults, adolescents, children, and couples in a variety of settings for over 15 years. My approach is strengths-based and is centered on each client’s needs, and is holistic, considering the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I collaborate with my clients to establish a therapeutic relationship that is grounded in openness, honesty, trust, empathy, acceptance, and, occasionally humor.

There can be a variety of reasons why we may feel overly anxious or uneasy, feel rigid, stuck or out of control, or sad, depressed, weepy and hopeless. These and other feelings often show up in our relationships with family and friends, work-school, food, substances or with other behaviors. My approach to therapy is to provide a safe, compassionate and honest environment to help you come to an understanding of why this is happening, and guide you on the journey of healing, growth and change. I work to empower people with a new awareness and stronger ability to manage the challenges in life that bring us to seek therapy.

My approach to therapy comes from a depth psychological perspective. We will work together in an atmosphere of mutual respect and regard for your healing process. Our focus is centered on your experience and your development. We will address issues of depression, anxiety, self esteem, childhood trauma and midlife and late life issues for men and women as well as relationship issues. Some of the goals of therapy are psychological integration and the cultivation of new life, inner purpose and discovery of meaning.

I'm skillful in treating people who struggle with interpersonal relationships, conflict, life transitions, creativity/productivity, depression, anxiety, loss, grief, and trauma.

I see adolescents, teens, and adults who are experiencing overwhelm and stress, anxiety and depression, challenging life changes, and grief and loss. I am an experienced guide during important life transitions at home, work, or at school.
