About
**Please leave the name of your insurance provider (if applicable) when you contact me so I can best serve you in our initial consultation. Thank you!** I support individuals in relation to their trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship with food and body, gender, sexuality, and life transitions. My therapeutic relationships are most often marked by warmth, empathy, compassion, and humor, and my overall approach is client-centered and strength-based, embodied by anti-oppression, feminist, and justice-oriented values.
When a client hopes to heal and increase their sense of well-being connected to their relationship with body and food, I am guided by a BodyTrust® approach which is rooted in the principles and values of self-compassion, fat liberation, radical self-love, and weight inclusive care, with an expansive and client-defined understanding of health.
My practice is trauma-informed and uses an integrative approach including, but not limited to: Emotion Focused Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness. I welcome the opportunity to join you in the process of reaching your therapeutic goals.
